ScoutedBrand is operated by Stinger Ventures LLC, a North Carolina company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect through scoutedbrand.com and the ScoutedBrand beta, how we use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you join the list
- Your role (athlete, parent, agency or business), email address, school and sport.
- Optional: first name, Instagram handle and who you would expect to pay for a report.
- Agencies: roughly how many athletes you represent. Parents: whether the athlete knows you're signing up.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, or that you are a parent or guardian signing up for an athlete.
- The date and version of the consent you agreed to.
- Where you came from: the ad or post tag in the link you followed, and a teammate's share code if you used one.
Technical information
- To stop spam and keep the site secure, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, not the address itself, and a short description of your browser. We treat these as personal information too.
- Our web host keeps standard server logs.
- Public pages set no cookies and load no third-party tracking scripts.
If you're invited to the beta
- Answers you give in the beta questions, such as goals, categories you would or would not work with, school break plans and eligibility.
- Optional screenshots of your social media statistics and photos you choose to share.
- Public information about you and your team, such as roster pages, school announcements and public social media profiles.
What we never ask for
Contracts, government ID numbers, bank or card details, immigration documents or passwords.
How we use it
- To run the beta list and contact you about the beta and the launch.
- To prepare your report if you're invited.
- To improve ScoutedBrand, including counting sign-ups by role, school, sport and source.
- To keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run ScoutedBrand, such as our web host and the technology providers we use to help prepare reports, and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your report
Your report is private. We don't publish it or use it as a marketing example without your separate written permission (and a parent's, if you're under 18).
Athletes under 18
ScoutedBrand is not for children under 13. Athletes aged 13 to 17 take part only through a parent or guardian, who signs up and gives consent for them.
How long we keep it
We keep beta list information until you ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after the beta ends. We keep a report baseline for the agreed follow-up check and delete it on request.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to leave the list, at any time by emailing hello@scoutedbrand.com.
Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted access and protected storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you if a problem affects your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell people on the list by email.
